Municipal Corporation
The City of Groveland operates under the Council-Manager form of government. It is the governing body of the city, with all the regulatory and corporate powers of a municipal corporation provided under Florida state law.

Meetings Information
Regular meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Monday evenings of each month at: The City Council serves as the Board of Directors for the City, with the Mayor as Chairman. The City Manager serves as the Chief Executive. The City Council for the City of Groveland is made up of five members; the Mayor is elected at large and the four council members are elected by each of their districts.
