The next General Election for the City of Groveland City Council seats will be held in November, 2012.Candidates for office in order to be eligible to run for office (council seat):
- Must reside in that district, or in an area which has been annexed by the City of Groveland
- Have lived at such address for at least one year immediately preceding qualification.
- Must be registered to vote in the State of Florida
